1st August is Switzerland National Day. And for this special day, I baked Red Velvet Whoopie Pies to honors the Swiss colors. The recipe is available below with a little Confettidea tip: the sour cream was replaced by Greek yogurt. Happy Birthday to all Swiss Citizens !

At about 24:00 of flight from Switzerland is Autralia. A country where surfing and kangaroos are the kings. Whatever ? Actually I’ve never been in Australia, so I’m not sure. But it’s the image presented of this country around the world. There is still koala, emu, Tasmanian devil, Wombat, Goanna and the great white shark (unfortunately for some people). But although all these animals are interesting, I wasn’t going to do a zoo on the cake.

Tomorrow, USA will celebrate their 240th Independence Day. For this occasion, I offer you a pretty special USA fruits tart. This tart is also very tasty and fresh to start this summer.

I had the pleasure to be a part of Aurélie & Simon’s wedding by doing their wedding cake. I wish them all the best for their future like together. They are really made for each other. Yesterday we celebrated the 6th birthday of Etienne. I wanted to offer him a sweet treat but I didn’t have so much time to bake something huge. So I opened my freezer and I had one cookie dough left since last week. After thawed, I cut it into seven identical triangles shape. Each triangle correspond to a letter of his name (E T I E N N E), the goal is to create a banner with his name.
